Why are people looking for XBOX 360 consoles that are either banned or have the RROD?
I was looking for a used XBOX 360 on Craigslist and I saw a lot of listings for people wanting to purchase banned or Red Ring of Death used systems. Some even offering to trade a new system for these "broken" systems. Is this some sort of scam? Why would anyone want a broken system over a new one? I’ve never owned an XBOX 360, I have a Wii, and aside from the games that are offered I don’t know much about the ins-and-outs of the system. Any advise would be helpful.

I buy broken ones, fix them and sell them at 400% profit with a personal warranty.
The banned xboxs may be a cheap option for people who never intend to go online.
