Dimension E310 video card upgrade?
I want to buy a video card that is compatible with the dell dimension E310…i want atleast a 512mb video card to play games like age of empires 3, COD, Team Fortress 2, Crysis, and sims 3. I dont know what type of cards can fit in my PC so i need help! Thanx
Hello. I’m sorry to say that your PC is kind of outdated compared to the latest computers. I really think you should upgrade your whole PC, and buy a gaming PC. You can find cheap custom build gaming PC’s on eBay, Newegg, etc. Hope I helped!

I think you may have a tough time upgrading that machine. The e310 lists as having only a single PCI-E x1 slot and one PCI slot. So you’re only real bet is to get a PCI (NOT PCI-E) card. The most powerful one you can get that I know of right now is the Radeon HD 4350.
I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but this thing, while light years better than your current onboard video, is still pretty underpowered and really won’t perform with todays games…certainly not Crysis, unless you play at very low settings. Even then, it will be a stretch.
