What do law enforcement officials need in order to arrest an accused thief?
Hypothetically speaking…in Pennsylvania, if an innocent person is accused of theft, jewelry items from their sisters home, what do the police need in order to arrest the accused? Should the accused attempt to file counter charges? If anyone knows anything about this, or of a website that may have information that could help, it would be greatly appreciated.
I’m aware that probable cause is needed to arrest, but I’m not sure what constitutes probable cause? All we have, at the moment, is the word of one person claiming that the theft took place, and of course the items are missing. Do they need more than this to arrest is the question.

Absent of an arrest warrant they would need probable cause to believe a crime has been committed and the named person had committed the crime. The probable cause standard is not enough to get a conviction (beyond reasonable doubt) but is above simple suspicion.

ekg normal gerd or heart problems?
ok so i had full lab work chest xray and a ekg and upper gi done so far.
i got the results back today they said every test even the ekg was normal. but the upper gi was normal but it did show i had gerd like expected which is acid reflux disease. well i still have chest pains in the middle kinda too the left. i was wondering if this is a cause of gerd? if the ekg and blood work was normal could there still be a heart problem? the pain still hurts worse after i eat but sometimes it hurts even when i don’t. acid reducers help for awhile but stop after a week my doc told me too start prevacid tomorrow and i got a fallow up on this wed. she also is sending me the 23rd of feb for a stress test. if the ekg was normal and blood work do you think my chest hurts from gerd? or maybe a heart problem?

best bet would to be count out carbs. And soda. that always leads to rapid wieght loss.

also, do a series of sit ups/crunches, and leg lifts are good for your stomach to. if you dont know how to do leg lifts, lay flat on the ground, put your legs straight in the air, hold them together, and then lower them to the ground, not completely dropping them. and then lift them back up. do sets of 10. Thos will work out your lower abs, where as regular crunches will work the middle and upper.

If you’re determined, then you should exercise and eat right. It’s what a lot of people will tell you, but it works. I’ve tried it.

You don’t necessarily need a gym membership to keep fit. Just jog and climb stairs. For the first week, run one mile. The second week, run 1.5 miles. Gradually build up your endurance.

To eat right, eat lots of beans, salads (with very little dressing), and chicken breast. Stay away from carbs, soda and candy.

I have a gold dust molly that needs to be moved due to bullying. Can I put it with a male HM betta?
The betta tank is only 3 gal. The poor molly used to have a friend, but I’m convinced that the guppies caused it’s death. Now they’re bullying the other surviving molly. I’d like to move him, but not if he’ll just be attacked again… Thanks to all!

I would not recimend it, but you can buy a divider for your betta tank *12$* and put your molly on one side. Good luck(:

Many times, its other fish who attack the betta. Bettas usually mind their own business, unless they think that the other fish is a rival betta. Because mollies don’t look like bettas, the betta shouldn’t attack. However, the molly might.
