I need help! Self esteem issues may be destroying relationship?
So, I have this problem with feeling ugly all the time. My boyfriend is so prefect that it scares me he’ll find someone else because I’m not beautiful enough… We’ve been together for nine months now and we’ve been planning out our future, which is coming at us so quickly. We’ve planned out our careers, where we’re going to college, ect… I’m afraid I’ll lose it all just for the simple fact I’m ugly. We’re so in love, well he says he’s in love w/ me, but I’m in love w/ him. It’ll be hard if I lose him. He tells me I’m beautiful all the time and how I’m the most gorgeous girl alive, how no ones more perfect, how I should be a model… How I have a beautiful personality, how I have a huge heart, how I’m so nice to everyone which makes me even more beautiful… blah blah blah… That stuff is so sweet and nice! & I appreciate it so much and it does cheer me up, however at the end of the day I’m back to being scared.

I have this HUGE hatred for his ex’s Ashley and Kathryn… They text him all the time! They keep in touch with him! Supposedly he doesn’t reply/answer to them though. Hm… I’m getting fed up. I feel as if he still wants them b/c I’m not pretty enough.

I had a conversation w/ his ex Kathryn a couple months ago b/c she send him nudes. I told her a whole bunch of stuff and she said this,

"It’s not my fault you’re boyfriend comes to me ’cause he says he’s lonely & plus he asked for the pictures. You can have your cheating boyfriend! You say he’s faithful but obviously he’s not. It makes me mad when girls being cheated on don’t realize it or in denial. I want to beat your a ss right now. He doesn’t love you, or even like you, he never even mentions you. I actually just found out he had a g/f."

That hurt and I didn’t know what to believe, I thought she was jealous of our relationship, then I thought it was true, I have so many mixed feelings.

Anyways I need help! Am I overreacting? Do I have anything to worry about? How can I get over this?… I’ve put up w/ this for too long now…

If you’re curious, here’s me:
http://i1020.photobucket.com/albums/af32 9/mexicana_022/Photo0175jpg.jpg

Here’s him:
http://i1020.photobucket.com/albums/af32 9/mexicana_022/123.jpg

Honestly it doesn’t matter if you think I’m pretty, or even if I think it. Right now, it’s about what he thinks, which is why I’m worried.

YES I AM DEAD SERIOUS ABOUT THIS.

ok both of you are fine if you think your that ugly do something about..like get a new outfit or hairstyle watever
and tell him how you feel about the ex situation and if he can;t repect that dont waste your time

Why do pinko liberals want to redistribute wealth? Do they not realize that monetary inequality is needed?
for society to function?

WE CANNOT BRING BACK THOSE THAT HAVE DIED DUE TO CHAIRMAN OBAMA AND HIS LIBERAL REGIME, BUT WE WOULD BE BETRAYING THEIR MEMORY IF WE LET THEM TAKE OUR FREEDOMS IN 2010 AND 2012!!!

Monetary inequality is needed for society to function!

I feel sorry for liberals! So many false beliefs and unfounded prejudices!!!!

1. The poor do society’s dirty work at a low cost. It would be difficult for us to survive without this underpaid workforce. If it wasn’t for poor people, who would produce our stuff and do dirty jobs at low wages?

2. The poor create jobs for police and prisons. Police and welfare agencies shield us from the poor people and their undesirable behavior.

3. The poor serve as cheap guinea pigs in medical experiments.

4. The poor makes the economy more efficient. They spend their low wages on cheap stuff that would have been thrown away and work in dangerous factories at a low cost.

5. The poor make others wealthy. Many slum landlords and inner city alcohol stores would be bankrupt without the poor.

6. The poor provide the front-line soldiers for war. These poor youth can be sacrificed during battle at a low cost. Where else would we get the grunt-level forces and people willing to test roads for bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan?

7. The poor provide cheap entertainment. Their lives of despair become entertainment and media for us to watch and enjoy.

8. The poor help motivate us. If we don’t get an education and work hard, and do whatever our bosses and government tells us, we will end up like them.

9. The poor help our self-concept. They make us all feel superior. We are not like them.
Tucking Fypo, that sounds INSANELY EXPENSIVE!

If they are not making profits for us, what economic incentive is there to help them?

You understand the true nature of things.

I have a Question about the Haruhi Suzumiya movie?
So I’m guessing that the Anime was about the first Light Novel, and the upcoming movie in Japan (The disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya) is the 3rd light novel. Is there something about the 2nd novel The Sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya. Can someone explain what I’m missing?

If you’ve watched the first episode of the anime (Episode 00), then that’s what the 2nd Novel is mainly about. The Sighs of Haruhi Suzumiya chronicles the SOS brigade’s wacky antics as they create a movie (which is Episode 00). So you’re not really missing much, since it just talks about how they made the movie, but it’s a great addition to the light novel series and any die hard Haruhi Suzumiya fan shouldn’t miss this part out. Actually, the 2009 anime version of Haruhi Suzumiya covers the 2nd novel (as well as the infamous Endless Eight, and Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody), so you might as well watch it since it completes the series up until the 4th novel.

I miss her terribly…still hoping there is a chance?
I am a 29 year old male. My best friend was (is?) a woman, and we have known each other for around two years now. We were so close that it "almost" felt as though we were a couple. The thing is, for most of our friendship, I have been in love with her. We would hug and hold hands, spend all of our time together; she’d joke about us getting married, how her mom thought we would make a nice couple. But on two separate occasions, when I made my true feelings for her known, she rejected me. She has had bad relationships, and she said she was afraid she would end up hurting me if we were together. So, even with her aware of my love for her, we remained friends. We had an argument last spring, and didn’t talk for months; I was ready to forget her once and for all, but after months, she suddenly called me one day, and once again we were close. I thought, I hoped that if she had made the effort to re-establish contact, it might mean that she felt somewhat towards me the same way that I did towards her.

Anyways, shortly before Christmas, we ended up kissing one night. And sleeping together (literally, not sexually). It was really the happiest night of my life. Delirious, I asked her a few days later to marry me. I know it was rash, considering we are/were just "friends," but I really wanted to know once and for all whether there was any chance for us to be together permanently. She said no, that we are too much alike, and (once again) that she would hurt me and she didn’t want that to happen. The problem is, she has hurt me worse as a friend than she ever could have in a relationship. She has broken off all contact since Christmas. She won’t answer my calls or e-mails, period. I tried sending her flowers asking her to forgive me, and still nothing. I’ve been a wreck and can’t sleep or concentrate on anything. I’m losing my mind just wondering what’s going on in hers. I’m really afraid that this is the end, and that I’ll never hear from her again, and I wrecked everything because I was so stupid. I miss my best friend. Does anyone have any advice? It is very much appreciated.

I’ve read all and what i’ve got to say is.. give it some time. seems shes the type of wanting space… hold your head up high keep yourself busy, give it a few days maybe a week or two. i’m sure you are important to her as well. You kinda scared her away. After some time send her a text message saying you miss her and wanna start over, no pressure.

Do you enjoy my writing? Also, tips to make it better?
Timmothi was in his den quietly reading a book. A fire was lit in the marble hearth and made the air warm and sweet. Anott was in the chair opposite him reading a book of alchemy. The room was filled only with the sounds of the ruffling of pages and the crackling of the fire. Above the hearth was the distinct sign of Aries, the Ram. The sign was crossed with two swords.
Anott sighed. Timmothi looked up from his book.

how much should i pay for a housesitter?
Need someone to stay in my house and mind my cat for 6 weeks in the summer

It’s hard to say. There are companies that provide bonded housesitters — and they charge a lot.

If it was me, I’d look for someone I know and trust (or somebody recommended by a person I know and trust) and trade lodging for cat-sitting services, with no exhange of money. There are probably hundreds of college students that would jump at the opportunity.

Wouldn’t you rather pay a neighbor’s responsible teen to come in three or four times a week to feed the cat and change his litter? When my daughter did this, she got, I believe, $10 each time she came in.

Is there someone I can truly speak to about suicide?
I am not a diagnosed teenager with ADD, nor do I cut myself. I am not crying out for attention. I am a 30 year old male with a loving woman, but my desire to wake up tomorrow diminishes a little more everyday. Somehow, I make her cry at least once a week, and yet she holds on to me like I’m the prize of the century. Anyway… I have a wonderful rope, about six feet in length, that fits snugly around my neck while leaving enough slack to anchor it just about anywhere.
If I have enough room, I’d like to speak a little about my situation. I had a hemorrhagic stroke when I was 26, disabling the left side of my body. I have struggled HEAVILY with depression my whole remembered life. I have a felony theft that occurred the same time as my stroke, and just tonight, I got a summons for shoplifting sleeping pills (try to guess why..), which is just humorous to me, as you’ll find out in a few sentences. I have people that care for me more than they rightly should, but I just want to go to sleep, and stay there. I am ambivalent as to whether or not I should finish this letter, or just put my new shoes on, walk a mile into the "park" down the street, and hang myself. I’m not throwing a pity party for myself, I just don’t want to do a hand written letter telling everyone why I did not have the strength to finish life on God’s terms. But I feel a minor duty to at least leave a bread trail for Krys, my mom, Jon, Rob, and my siblings, ranging from 7 to 22 years old. I have tried self inflicted salvation in the past, my most recent being in April, 2009. For all of you that are thinking a bottle of aspirin will do the trick…. It won’t. You’ll wake up the next day, and puke a bucket of pink stomach lining, in addition to having the worst headache of your life (kind of ironic considering it’s supposed to kill the pain). believe me, 80 fuckin aspirins And five percocets didn’t do the trick.
I have decided on the noose. hundreds years of tried and true results are hard to ignore. Now, I can’t tell you the exacts or specifics of why I am so determined to die of my own accord, but I can give the ones that really make me hate myself. I am callow. I am crippled, and can no longer operate the way I used to. I am lonely, because I’m afraid to open the dark cellar doors of my mind to even my closest of friends. I am a kleptomaniac, I steal for no reason, whether I need it or not. I hurt the people I love constantly, most times not even meaning to – but a dog doesn’t understand why you stepped on it, it just knows it hurt, people are the same I think. I Don’t consider myself stupid (at least there is that), but I am foolish beyond repair. I have weird fetishes that I cannot bring myself to admit, even on an anonymous blog with a make shift yahoo account. I let my emotions rage uncontrolled, whether anger, apathy, sorrow…. They all flood forward without a way to restrain them.
I see strong people walking about, minding their business, and I cry openly, because I was never a good person before I was broken, now I’m just pathetic – seeing somebody do what they’re supposed to be doing makes me hate myself, because what is so natural in most people was never installed in my synaptic OS. I feel like Gollum, from the Lord of the Rings. I’m just a pitiful wretch that people stare at. Like a bug in a box. I’m so depressed right now. It comes in big, whooping waves that crash upon my fragile sense of self worth like a tsunami on some poor coastal city 7,000 miles south. But I have no red cross. I have no hand outs. I wouldn’t take them if I did.
My problem, I believe, is that I want to die. I felt the same way when I had a nice apartment, a pretty girlfriend, money in the bank, and a decent car. Money is not the reason of my discontent, in fact right now, money is the reason I have that nice rope. Money is a means to an end.
I guess I’m rambling on a bit, but it’s therapeutic to vent your malaise, even if it should go unread.
Don’t get me wrong, if I was 100% pure death magnetic, I wouldn’t be writing this. I’d say on any given day it’s 40/60 suicide/survival. Today has been a 90/10 from the get go, and I guess by shoplifting the pills I would never have used anyway, I was looking to push myself into a mandatory suicide. And just go figure, the cops were actually really cool. Which again made me hate myself. Here these fine young men are serving a purpose of righteous glory by protecting and serving their fellow man, and I’m like a fuckin rat, pilfering away my shiny treasures until the inn keeper pushes me out with a broom. That’s it. I’m done. I do mean this seriously though… IF I am around tomorrow or the next day, I would like to talk with somebody that has a similar modus operandi, if nothing more than for comfort of not being alone. What I don’t care for is the standard "life is beautiful" response. I know it’s beautiful. I have found moments I consider to be

Baby has grown up in privileged surrounds with her doctor father and all expect her to go on to college, join the Peace Corps and save the world before marrying a doctor, just like her father. Unexpectedly, Baby becomes infatuated with the camp’s dance instructor, Johnny, a man whose background is vastly different to her own. Attempting to impress him, Baby borrows money from her father to pay for an illegal abortion for Johnny’s dance partner. She then fills in as Johnny’s dance partner and it is during the rigorous training that they fall in love. It all comes apart when Johnny’s friend falls seriously ill after her abortion and Baby is forced to seek her father’s medical assistance. Her father then learns what Baby has been up to, who with and worse – that he funded the illegal abortion. He bans his daughter from any further association with “those people”. In the first deliberately willful action of her life, Baby later sneaks out to see Johnny – ostensibly to apologize for her father’s rudeness – and ends up consummating her relationship with Johnny. A jealous fellow vacationer sees Baby sneaking out of Johnny’s bungalow the next morning and in an act of retribution, tells management that he is responsible for a theft that last evening, knowing he would not furnish his real whereabouts. Attempting to defend her lover, Baby confesses that they were together that night – all night. This revelation causes a huge rift in the family and Baby makes an impassioned speech to her angry and bereft father. At the closing night performances, and although he has been fired and banned from attending – Johnny returns and takes the stage to tell everyone about the woman who stole his heart and changed his life before they have one, final dance together.
